For proper draft beer line cleaning:
15 minute re-circulating cleaning with 2% caustic solution for well maintained lines, 3% solution for older lines
Flush cleaning solution with water until the proper pH level has been met
Remove, disassemble, and clean all faucets and handles
Clean and sanitize shanks, drip trays, and glass rinsers
Clean and sanitize couplers
Replace any worn coupler or faucet washers
Check and adjust CO2 regulators to insure proper system balance
Check glycol levels, inspect for gas leaks, and wipe down jumper lines in cooler
Every three months, in addition to the bi-weekly draft beer line cleaning services, we clean with a 1% acid solution to remove any beer stone build up. Beer stone causes debris and foaming in your system over time. Removing beer stone will extend the life of your draft system for years.
During this time, we also provide a recommendation of any upcoming maintenance your system may need
In addition to the bi-weekly and quarterly line cleaning we:
Disassemble and clean all applicable beer "FOBs", keg couplers, and beer pumps
Inspect glycol power pack to make sure of proper performance, including checking the viscosity of the glycol bath
Jumper line replacement
Gas system maintenance
Change out glycol bath to ensure draft lines are kept at the proper temperature
A clean and properly balanced draft system means better tasting draft beer, less waste, and more profit to your business.
